We decided to cram one more national park into our list at the end of 2023! We spent New Years at Lake Oauchita Campground in Arkansas and drove into Hot Springs National Park to experience the bath houses. We walked The Grand Promenade in downtown Hot Springs, soaked in the natural hot springs of Quapaw Baths & Spa, then had lunch across the street at The Ohio Club. All are excellent and can e...

Good work. Greetings from Spain.
Beautiful! How far was the first stop and how long did it take you to hike there w the view?
A little over 6 miles, it was beautiful! www.alltrails.com/trail/us/alaska/west-glacier-trail
Did you install the leather yourself?
Never mind. I found the answer. On your video!
@@roncruiser correct, I paid an upholstery shop to do it.
Dual side mounts and trunk would look good
Great video…I purchased the TDC device. But, I’m confused about rotating to TDC..has you rotated, air was coming out of the which you indicated was the compression stoke, but you continue around until the TDC device came up again..which you indicated was the compression stoke..shouldn’t you have stop when air was coming out and the indicator showed TDC, rather than continue to rotate to the second TDC?
Looks great I have a 23 Touring myself. I’m in Kitts Hill Ohio only about 130 miles from Cincinnati. Is there a model t club there I can join?
Hazel's looking well. Sometimes old cars can catch the rheumatism when the temperature starts to turn cool.
Hazel said thank you for the compliment! She was cold and had to wait a week to be cleaned off, but she is back looking and running good! Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to the channel!
And make sure parking brake is on and gear in neutral..

The heater in my 31 has a cast say’s model A , not modified.

Wow ! Your wife has more balls than a lot of guys I know... good for her (and you) for hanging in there. More memories made than money can buy ! 😊
Jeff, haha you are absolutely correct. I am so very lucky to have her, she is very adventurous in life. I will never forget this trip. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to the channel!
Anyone know what the tubing is going from manifold to firewall? What is its purpose? Thanks and good video 😎🇺🇸
That is the vacuum line. It's only purpose is the run the vacuum wiper that was stock the year this car was made. The lines runs inside to the cab, then up the front A-pillar behind the upholstery, then along the header of the windshield, before connecting to the vacuum motor on the interior of the car. @@JWilliams81 ahhh. Thank you so much. I just purchased a 1931 fordor town sedan. It has wipers but that line is not hooked up. Thanks for the info and subbed 😎👍🏼
@@bubba6richards729 Well congratulations on the new car! We have the same car! Let me know if I can answer any questions, I will certainly try.
@@JWilliams81 well ty very much. The car is finished top to bottom. It is very well documented and featured in a snap on calendar. Unfortunately I acquired it from a friend of my fathers who passed and his kids wanted nothing to do with it. Truly blessed to own this piece of history. 👍🏼

Model T fords are charming cars ,people today wouldn't know how to drive one.LOL,great photos of your trip driving a open model T in winter.👍
I always enjoy telling people how the pedals work or showing them if I am able. It is a lot of fun driving a car from 101 years ago! It was cold without side curtains, but still a blast! Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to the channel!
I have a 23 Touring and live in Kitts Hill Ohio. Roughly 140 miles from Cincinnati.
I really need to get mine out and experience winter with it, but I worry about the salt on the roads.
Thanks for watching! I was really paranoid about the salt too. This trip was an absolute blast but the entire time I was worried about how to get off the salt off. I ended up having to wait an entire week to clean the Model T. She sat in my garage untouched from the tour that entire time. I found a product on Amazon called "Salt Off" made by the company Starbrite. This is used on marine equipment so I thought I would give it a try. I ended up putting the diluted "Salt Off" in a 1 gallon pump sprayer (similar to what you use for weed killer) that I got from Home Depot. Then I got under the car and liberally sprayed every thing I could see. I covered the underside and the body panels with the stuff. Then I let it air dry as the instructions said. Then came back and washed it all off with a hose. Then came back and did a full normal wash. It seemed to dissolve or loosen most all the salt I could find. I am pretty happy with the results! Enjoyed the video a great deal!! Thanks for posting!!

Its the crank from resident evil 😂
👍👍👍
It looks like you left out the rear "grease baffle" when installing the the rear brakes. I just did this job yesterday on my '31 S/W Town Sedan.
@MAFCAJim, if you look closely at 3:17-3:27 you will see that Randy wire ties the rear grease baffle to the emergency brake carrier when he ships the unit. I left the rear grease baffle wire tied until I was inserting the bolts through. So it is in there and installed correctly. Thank you for watching and make sure to subscribe!
The one problem with that system is getting an exhaust leak where that exhaust can be pushed into the cabin. Monoxide is a deadly poison and can kill if exposed to it long enough. Many people died from leaks in the exhaust being drawn into the cabin.
Yes, that's why maintaining your car and ensuring that everything is how it should be is important. Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to the channel!
Impressive but then again that's what the T was made for. No heat for the passengers is kinda funny but I'll bet the car didn't mind one bit.
You are right, Hazel didn't mind the cold one bit. We had on ski pants and jackets and did just fine without side curtains. Now if the wind had been blowing hard or we had a snow storm, that would have been a different story. Thanks for watching, please subscribe to our channel!
VERY cool!

Y'all made a fantastic attempt figuring out the lake pronunciation. I never would have got it right if I wasn't taught. It's pronounced "wash eh taw" It's a beautiful area.

That’s a deluxe model with electric starter instead of the old hand crank.
Electric starters were optional from the factory starting in 1919. This 1923 Model T has the hand crank as well as the only two options offered, an electric starter and demountable rims. Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to the channel!

Beautiful Model A, I've loved these cars since I was a kid, they look good cruising down the road, I have 31 Deluxe TUDOR, owned 3 over the past 50 years, Model A's are fun to drive, enjoyed the video and music, it fit perfect, SUBSCRIBED.
Thank you for subscribing! Check out the Model A playlist for more videos of her. I do daily drive mine, so she isn’t perfect but like you say sooo much fun to drive. 3 in 50 years sounds like they are all doing their job for you!
It's a sad time when you have to park your mile away for the winter. I winterized mine and put it on the trickle charger. It's ready for a long winter's nap here in Ohio.
Matthew, It is always a sad time when you have to put the cars up for the winter. We are in Cincinnati, where in OH are you? Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to our channel!

Love the Simplicity of these early cars you fix them yourself most Model A parts are still available reproductions but good quality, modern cars are a throw away item after it has done its deed, you are Not meant to fix them but human nature being what it we try to!
I really do daily drive my Model A here in Ohio until they put salt on the roads. I just drove her to work this week when it was 19 degrees outside, I was comfy in the heated cabin. Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to our channel!
Love Ford Model A, i would ideally have a coupe, dark green with black fenders, wire wheels. Nice!!
Barry, That is a good color combo. What year are you looking for? Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe to our channel!
Had one like you want until Pop painted it maroon/black fenders. Everyone loves the color combo but me. Should not have messed with perfection.

I just found a Model A for sale that needs work that has this system, but it has a sort of radiator unit mounted on firewall inside by passengers feet. The manifold system looks like this one except it has no blower in the engine bay. I've just now began to find out what this unit was and suspected a heater, you confirm this. Thanks
